PLOT

Japan is hosting the WSG, a major sports event. A new high-speed train, the Vacuum Superconducting Linear, is set to open. At a party for sponsors, a kidnapping incident occurs. Shuichi Akai and the FBI are monitoring the situation. Conan notices a connection to a similar kidnapping in Boston fifteen years ago. He suspects a conspiracy and fears for Japan's safety during the WSG.
